Overview
This weekend course will serve as a comprehensive review of relevant Neuroimaging and Head & Neck topics. It has been designed to prepare the participant to better understand imaging of the brain, spine and head & neck. Pediatric neuroimaging concepts will also be included. The course format includes a series of didactic lectures plus interactive case reviews.

Objectives
Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:
-provide a differential diagnosis of mass lesions in the brain, neck and spine of adult and pediatric patients;
-differentiate between neoplastic, inflammatory and ischemic lesions in the brain and spine;
-accurately describe degenerative disorders of the spine using standardized nomenclature;
-provide imaging assessments that are useful to clinicians for staging of head and neck carcinoma;
-understand the fundamentals of the use of advanced imaging modalities in the analysis of neurological disorders;
-understand the basics of latest advances in imaging to assess neurological diseases and malformations;
-select the ideal imaging techniques for the diagnosis and management of acute and chronic brain, neck and spinal neural diseases, including pediatric neuroradiological emergencies.

Through an agreement with the U.S. Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education, it is also accredited for 14.25 hours of Category 1 credits towards the Physicians' Recognition Award of the American Medical Association.(AMA).

Cancellation Terms
Written notification of cancellation must be received via email 30 or more days prior to the start of the course. Refunds are possible subject to a $50 cancellation fee ($25 for daily registrants). Travel
Tremblant is easy to reach with direct flights from Toronto (Porter) and driving times from Montreal or Ottawa under 2 hours. There are nonstop, very quick flights from Newark on Continental on the weekends in the winter ski season.

Highlights of the Area
With 94 trails, an elevation of 875 m, and skiing and boarding on four faces, Tremblant promises an exhilarating experience for all levels of skiier. It offers 17 novice runs, 31 intermediate and miles of expert terrain. If you prefer cross-country skiing, there are 300 km of trails in the Laurentians. Dog-sledding, ice climbing, ice fishing and snowmobiling are other winter activities you might enjoy. A new village and gondola on the other side of Tremblant is now open with a 21,000 sq foot casino for those seeking nightly entertainment after the runs close.
