Hotel Registration
Our selected hotel, the Fairmont Queen Elizabeth, is the grandest hotel Montreal offers with lots of history and the service for which Fairmont is known. Its location in the heart of downtown is ideal (above the main train station for those of you coming to Montreal by train). It is located between Mount Royal and the St. Lawrence River; it’s a 15-minute walk to Old Montreal and a 10-minute walk to the main plaza for the Jazz Festival. You can step outside the hotel and walk along bustling streets brimming with boutiques, art galleries, antique shops and restaurants. The hotel features 3 restaurants, including the legendary Beaver Club (one of Canada’s top 10), plus full-service spa and health club with indoor pool.

Even if jazz isn’t your thing, you will enjoy a long weekend in this bustling, cosmopolitan city. One of the largest French cities in the world, known for its contagious “joie de vivre”, Montreal offers striking architecture, history and old-world charm. If you haven’t been to Montreal for a long time, it clearly deserves its reputation as one of the liveliest cities in North America. Summer is the perfect time to stroll the cobblestone streets of Old Montreal, experience Montreal’s unique history, culture and cuisine, visit its museums, churches, parks and boutiques. There’s plenty to do for the entire family: boat trips on the St. Lawrence, visiting the Montreal Science Center, Biodome, Planetarium, Insectarium, Olympic Park and Six Flags La Ronde (rides & attractions).
